Nikki and I first met in college at Parsons the New School for Design and bonded over the course of an all-nighter as we vigorously illustrated a collection to submit for a fashion scholarship. We reconnected a few years after college and have been friends ever since.
She is a vibrant and creative human that can light up an entire room. She's also an incredible singer. I hope our Alterre community of strong individuals enjoy this peek into her life as a freelance costume designer in the film industry. She offers a truthful and vulnerable perspective on how the pandemic is affecting her career.
